Oh, boy let me tell you. I remember the 70's like it was yesterday. Watched tons of 70's programming and cartoons in the early 90's, twas a great time.

do you math?

i was born in '72, therefore i'm an 80s kid.

having been an embrio in 1999 doesn't make you a 90s kid; you need to be aware of whats happening around you to be of that period.

Anyone born after 88 need not apply to the *i'm a 90's kid* group because you will kicked to the kerb and laughed at.

would you expect the person to have been in an incubator for the years between the ages of 3 and 13? I doubt it. I bet you those kids recall and cherish very much about the music and general culture during those years.

I was 1 year old when 1980 happened. I strutted around with my Thriller jacket and parachute pants. I had most of the transformers, star wars, and GI Joe action figures! I watched Transformers/He-Man/GI Joe religiously. Try to take that away from me, punk!

I'm very clearly an 80s kid because I came of a certain age during that decade, and a 90s kid because I experienced the next tier of social/biological development during that decade.

It is very easy to determine if you are a 90's kid:

Do the clothes you wear in your free time "fit" you, as in tight to the skin?

Yes - millennial

No - 90's kid

Ohh man, I had the imposters, Go Bots. Thunder Thunder Thunder Cats!

I started with Go-Bots! they were available to us before transformers.

In fact, mom took us to Roses one fine evening, because we are allowed to pick up a new Go-Bot each. There were no go-bots out on the shelves, so the saleslady went to the back to check.

She rolled out a cart loaded with BRAND NEW UNRELEASED TRANSFORMERS! :awe: :awe: and was like, "Is this what you meant?"

We thought we were the luckiest, and certainly greatest kids in the world that day. And I challenge anyone who thinks otherwise!

(we took home the red minivan dude and Starscream)

I was born in 86 but I'd consider myself more a 90's kid than 80's. Those 4 years I spent in the 80's I was just too young to remember anything. When I think of childhood nostalgia it's all 90's stuff such as video games and cartoons of that time. Mind you a lot of that stuff was from the 80's or even before and just kept going. For example I think the NES came out in 86 but it was still popular throughout the 90's. It was not like now where they have to keep pumping out a new console every few years. Things were build to last. I can plug a NES or SNES in my TV today and it will still work, and the best part is, it wont need to update and it wont need to reply on some server to work. And here I am reminiscing about old stuff again. 😛

90s kid means you spent most of your childhood in the 90s. this usually means being born in the mid to late 80s.

millennials are so stupid.

EVERY kid was the kid in the Christmas story until sometime around the late 70's. That lifestyle was either killed by disco or Atari. I'm not sure which.

I had glasses, corduroys, a decoder ring, a Red Ryder Daisy BB gun and a Great Aunt who knitted me things. I never put my eye out but, I blew the roof off my neighbors garage.

I'll vote Disco.

😛

Even though I had a few frilly shirts and synthetic disco pants in the 70's.

*ducks*

I was more or less like Garth almost exactly then, playing drums, mannerisms, down to the concert shirts with the other over the top, the first time I saw freaking that movie I thought someone had stalked my 70's life.

I think you are missing the point of the thread

I know I'm not a 90's kid I was born in '99

The point is to talk about the people that think they are but they were born in 1999
