I'm 28 and I act like I am 17 still. The whole wife/kid/mortgage thing usually brings me back down to Earth, but not for long. :D

If so, when/how did you finally feel like a "adult"?

When I first had sex, try it sometime :p

That sucks it took you until 32 to feel like an adult. Hey, it's ok. Lots of people lose their virginity at 32.

I'm 22. I think when I get out of college, I'll feel older. Getting carded for R-rated movies and M-rated games doesn't help me feel any older than 17.

I teach kids aged 5-13. They think I'm old, and have no problem telling me I'm ancient. Try feeling young when you're around them everyday. I'm 22.

It has to do with not only you still living at home, but collecting allowance from Mom & Dad. Also with Mom still doing your laundry and approving of your little girlfriends.

Move out. Get a job. Do your own laundry. Someday you too will be a man.

Yeah, that's why I don't hang out with a lot of my loser friends anymore...

All they care about is drinking, having random sex with girls, being wasteful with money / time, etc. Don't go to school, live at home with mom & dad, work and spend money and trying to get more p*s*y.

I, on the other hand, am much better than that, and much better than you if that's how you live.

ditto. Only I'm 21.

I totally forget my age when people ask. First I think "18, no wait I turned 19. Damn wait I'm 20? no wait....21 now!"

Yeah I kind of feel the same way too... mentioned it to my parents a few days ago actually. Growing up is overrated anyways.

I'm 24 and wish I was 16. As somebody sings in a song 'I'll do anything.... for my sweet 16'... Easily perhaps the happiest time of my life. Why? That's b/c I felt better, was more healthy than now and b/c I thought I had future. I felt like I had all my life ahead of me. And now I'm counting the days till I hit 25 and then 30 and hasta la vista, baby. I'm done. But the positive thing is that this aging crap makes me move my ass more than I ever did before. Just when you realize you don't have much time left on this earth and there's so much you've always wanted to do and to be it not only makes you worried, but gives you an incentive to finally change your life.
