Anyone know if any car rental company will allow this? I know generally 25 is the minimum age but I figure I can get buy this if I pay a bit more.

Also, anyone know if any car rental co's have manual cars anymore? I'd LOVE to get a manual just for shizzles...I miss driving a car and even if is an econo-compact it'd be great to get my foot on a clutch.

Many car rental places will just charge a higher rental fee for under 25 but it should not be difficult to find one. As far as manual, it may cost you more because it is far cheaper to get a fleet of automatic transmissions then replace the clutch after every moron drives it.

Your conventional rental companies aren't going to carry a manual. You might have to hit up a used car dealer that does rentals on the side. Sometimes you can negotiate weekly rates with them for cars on their lots. It's not very common though.

<25 means very high rental fee. They don't have MT cars for rental 'cause people will just rent them to learn to drive MT.
