I'm 21 and I have 8 credit cards

I only have my REI visa [3% cashback in store / 1% elsewhere] which i then turn around and funnel on more REI purchases which then fuel more purchases which the- hey.. wait a minute.. 😉

8 credit cards seems like a lot, i'd just get one of the solid Cashback cards like the Citibank and use that. My credit limit atm is about 4x what i can earn/spend in a month anyway (which kinda scares me)

You only need to worry at ~25 Cards. 8 is fine.
