A little translation on the myth comatas...
Comatas was an Italian shepherd most dedicated to the Muses. He frequently sacrificed his master's sheep to them in tribute. When the master discovered that Comatas was sacrificing his sheep to the Muses he locked Comatas in a caedar sarcophagus, and off-handedly said that since he was do dedicated to the Muses they would no doubt save him from death. But halo 2 cant be released as a demo......it has an ESRB rating so its completed....and in the faq they have sworn not to release a demo.....

IMO i think halo 2 will be released early...they have put it back so many times...and they have completed the game...why get it rated and complete and hold it 3 months to release?!?!

Either that or in the microsoft meeting they will be discussing a halo 2 pc version. they can afford it lol..i dont care what happens but post what u think and hints...eetc in this thread and keep it alive.

I read the 'translation'...not sure if I believe it. if you read the comments on the blog (http://ilovebees.blogspot.com/) it seems a lot of fans are going thru the site and putting all the hidden text together.

when I read thru that stuff, it 'sounds' exactly like LEELA, DURANDAL, and TYCO. if you are a long-time bungie fan, you already know what those are...they are AI constructs on board another human ship called Marathon (their first 3 FPS games)

Halo is set in the Marathon world, though further in the future. if you look around some of the Halo stuff, you'll see Marathon logos (Captain Keyes has one as his badge on his shirt). Marathon rocked ass! the storyline of the AI constructs was awesome, and Halo had an element of this, but not nearly as much...I think Bungie has resurrected some of the Marathon story for Halo 2. and if they are bringing back any of the Marathon AI's, this game's story will kick ass.

check out Marathon, Marathon 2, and Marathon Infinity. the stories are great, and there are Windows and Linux ports of the games now...there is a thread on http://www.bungie.net/ that explains how to download and play them...

I was moonlighting with gamestop last year when they thought it was going to be released.. then bungie said wtf we never said that..
i take anything but GONE GOLD announcements with a grain of salt..
 
anybody been following this? apparently payphones are ringing all around the country at specified coordinates. depending on what things you say to the recording on the payphone, audio links on ilovebees are being unlocked.

um, wrong. They even announced it at E3. That one guy had it TATTOOED on him with the date. It's even mentioned on their website:
