But will they pay taxes like everyone else?
Is this a serious question? How would licensed illegal aliens not pay taxes any more than other California citizens? I would want to know.

The bigotry is strong.

That's absolutely insane. And the case that got this going is an illegal immigrant that is a lawyer and will now be admitted to the bar. So, he's going to be going into a court of law and arguing legality of matters when he, himself, is not even legally supposed to be in the U.S.

Do you even know what bigotry means? What about social security?

You know what is crap here in California:

Someone who immigrants here legally with their parents at the age of 7, on a VISA such as an investor VISA, who goes to school in California, and eventually graduates high school in California, can't go to college in California without getting their own student VISA. Not only this but they are banned from financial aid, they have to pay out of state tuition in California public schools.

vs Someone who came here undocumentedly at the age of 14, and graduates high school in California. They are can go to any public school in California and get full aid from California, and they will get a reduced in state tuition amount. How is this even fair or right.

Please tell me California isn't liberal. Oh, wait, it is. We fucking take better care of illegal foreigners than we do our own. That's just not right!

Wow.. This is messed up.

All the legal and bureaucratic hurdles people have to go through to immigrate here legally (not only I have read about it but have heard so many horror stories, including marriages getting broken because of it). On the other hand, you have this massive flow of illegals...

Very unfair. Wrong

On second reading, am not sure I follow. If the kid immigrated legally at age 7, he should have become a citizen long before college age. Hence eligible for the things you mentioned. Please clarify?

The parents have a VISA for residency but not citizenship. When the kid turns 18 and graduates from high school, the kid can no longer ride on the parents' VISA and has to get his or her own. Also, since the kid was of legal status during his or her high school years, the kid can't take advantage of the laws that benefit the children of illegal immigrants who graduate from high school.
