This is why police need good, reliable nonlethal technologies. I'm not talking about rubber bullets... I'm talking about sound and/or light technologies that produce dizziness, disorientation, and nausea when activated. They could have dispersed that crowd quickly without harming anyone, and would have been well within their rights. The crowd was attacking (defacing) government property.

What is truly funny is that as socially liberal as I am the thought of a Mexian flag being hoisted in our nation (and our colors taken down and stomped on) makes me wish the police/military would intervene and send those jack*sses packing. It may be a piece of cloth to you but when I picture Iwo Jima and then this crap I am just stupified. Maybe an escalation is needed to awaken America to this crap. I am completely against what these people did but please don't try to flame the fire. I have seen plenty of videos of people getting their ass beat by people like you for flag-related acts. It's unusual that they were able to "get away" with this.
