I don't know if this is a tab or a type of LSD, can someone clarify? A friend told me this:
"was originally planning on dropping some foxy but couldn't get hold of my friend"

I think he's referring to X and not acid, but he always was big anti-tabs simply because of the brain damage. But I've never heard of any type of acid being called foxy.

Does anyone here know? I am undecided if I should kick his ass or just yell at him. (acid vs. X)

Foxy is a slang name for a research chemical. (5-MeO-DIPT)

Don't touch!

that could be either lsd or ex. I'd guess it's the street name for the batch of LSD he was trying to purchase.

Foxy is also called Foxy Methoxy, which is short for 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine. It is a entheogen, which is essentially a hallucinogen. The actual definition for an entheogen is a mind altering, psychedelic, spirit inducing, shamanistic substance.

From what I gather, the Foxy Methoxy (what a great name) has to be injected. It has no oral effects.

Tell your friend that he is liable to fry his brain. While this is a controlled substance, no one has looked into the last effects.

Have you?

EDIT: What is the deal with kids these days... better tripping through chemistry? If I ever wanted to trip out, which I don't, I would get ahold of some of those peyote buttons. Dip them in ranch dressing to help them go down better.

Why do all drugs have to be bad for you? Some of this stuff would be cool to try out if it had no negative side effects.

What people don't understand is that the hallucinogenic effects ARE a negative side-effect. You don't naturally hallucinate, do you?

If someone wanted to hallucinate all day long they should trade lives with a schitzophrenic. I'm sure they would never, ever want to touch any type of drug ever again.

Most drugs have no negative long lasting side effects. LSD for example is out of your system in less than 24 hours.

rgwalt, I'm not sure but I was under the impression that it was commonly ingested, and sometimes smoked.

To each his own :)

I can't be absolutely sure about my statement, but I had read that it has no oral effects. I've never met anyone who used it though.

Ah well... still love the name.

euphoria, heightened awareness, relaxation, increased strength, etc are also effects of drugs - hallucinations are not the only end result. Not something that you want to live with constantly, but it's an experience. (I've done pot 5 times or so years ago but wasn't real impressed, and haven't touched anything since.)

Such is life I guess - delicious, rich foods make you fat eventually.....working the least to get extreme amounts of money (drugs, crime, theft, etc) will probably eventually get you hurt or killed.....expensive luxury items could eventually make you go broke. It seems that nothing outside of normal, boring, ordinary life comes without a price.

hallucinating can be quite a pleasant side effect. you don't "naturally" rid yourself of cancer either, but you wouldn't call that aspect of kemo(sp?)therapy a negative aspect do you

yeah see i think...um i think getting rid of cancer to save your life is good and ok
while dropping acid so you can freak out and see stuff that isnt there to have a "good time" because you suck too much to enjoy something wholesome is bad....so drugs are bad, mmmkay?

Which one? The methoxy group has been added to a range of chemical compounds.

I thought it came in powder and you mixed it on your own... not really sure... never fvcked with research chems.
