Yeah but shooting people, especially people that "need" to be shot right now (as in they are an imminent threat), are just a tad bit harder to shoot from what I hear. Uh yes they are. Do you really think some pretend-army guys wearing stupid masks and posting photos of themselves on the internet are declaring total war against drug cartels? That's laughably silly. These guys are there to take pot shots at poor people trying to sneak into the US.
The drug cartel people probably don't need to enter illegally. Pay a guy, probably an American, $20,000 to haul some cocaine into the US, and another American will pick it up on the other side.

This is a serious question. Does anyone really think drug cartels are sneaking into the US on foot? While carrying hundreds of pounds of drugs? And how does the money go back to Mexico? Does another guy sneak back into Mexico while carrying loads of cash? Of course not. They drive in and out like normal people.

You probably won't see hundreds of people crossing together. You'll see something more like this, which should be fairly easy to shoot from a very long distance.

Maybe it was mentioned already, haven't read all the pages, that Catholic charities in the U.S. are housing many of the youths. And it's all private money so you can't really stop their cash from coming in unless Congress passes a law to do that. But of course you could argue to have the U.S. turn the youths back before the privately funded charities could get them.
