:brokenheart:Sheriff's deputies have arrested 14 men suspected of kidnapping and raping an 18-year-old woman in Florida.

The victim told deputies she was asleep in her home early Saturday when she heard a knock at the front door, according to the Naples Daily News. When she opened the door, she said several men reached in and grabbed her and dragged her from her home.

The victim told deputies the men took her to a nearby trailer where she saw several more men. She said one man began to choke her, while several of the others hit her, causing her to lose consciousness.

When she regained consciousness, the men were plugging her nose and pouring alcohol into her mouth, according to the report.

The men arrested and charged are: Rene Perezgarcia, 22; Mario Lopez Luis, 19; Herman Sanchez Salas, 28; Ovidio Lopez Funez, 19; Napoleon Perez Lopez, 29; Edwin Albaladego Rivera, 28; Ermitanio Lopez Salas, 18; Israel Santiago, 56; Rolando Perez Claudio, 23; Alvarado Perez Luis, 21; Augusto Perez Lopez, 32; Cesar Perez Lopez, 29; Gabino Garcia Godinez, 24; and Augusto Garcia Velasquez, 30

So then, what is the truth we can gather from all this?

The enormous costs include the billions of dollars prosecuting these illegal alien monsters and incarcerating them for decades and often for life. We currently have over 3 million illegal aliens locked up in the USA and that number is skyrocketing. It costs around 60,000$ a year to house them, plus the expense of building so many new prisons. Facts that are breaking the backs financially of many States and local municipalities who are going into debt to manage this crisis.

Oh, if you want to read about more rapes there are hundreds more that could be mentioned. Many are too violent and graphic to mention here. Illegal aliens are characteristicly intensely viscious and cruel to their thousands of victims. Our American women and girls. So there you have it. DREAM SEEKERS who cross our southern border. There is an excellent rule of thumb I find useful for calibrating my bullshit detector, and it goes like this. If someone is trying to argue their point through proof by anecdote or some other equally stupid argument, chances are that their entire point is BS, because if they HAD a better argument, they'd be using it.

If straightalker had some facts he could point to that showed that overall, illegal immigrats do more harm than good to their host country, he'd use it. Since all we see are loaded phrases (about protecting the children no less) and cherry-picked examples, the chances of him having an ACTUAL argument seem rather low.

Rapes accelerating from 9.6 per 100,000 in 1960 until 1990 where there were 42 per 100,000. All meanwhile foreign born immigrants were on a downward trend. In 1992 we have seen a steady decline in rapes from 42 to 32 per 100,000...in the biggest burst of immigration we have ever seen.

Maybe the OP would like to explain the accelerating rape rates (6 times in 30 years) as immigration was tightened. Perhaps you'd like to explain this "rape wave" when statistics show rape is on the decline. Of course everyone finds every shed of evidence why illegals and other immigrants should not be living in the US.

From the REAL data...if any parallels are going to be drawn, it's the exact opposite. The more immigrants, the less rapes per capita!!

So by your fantastic data (and a little research of my own), about 2% of illegal immigrants are sex offenders. Not exactly a huge percentage, but here is a compromise, how about we just keep that 2% out?

Of course the study itself that arrived at that estimate (the study didn't "find" anything, the number was estimated) has some rather glaring methodology problems. The biggest issue I can see is that the estimate was made using the following approach (quoted from WND)...

She arrives at the figure of 240,000 offenders ? a conservative estimate, she says ? through public records showing about 2 percent of illegals apprehended are sex offenders.

So, if I understand this right, she's extrapolating the percentage of illegals APPREHENDED to be representative of the population of illegals at large without actually showing why such an assumption is valid? I can think of several reasons why this percentage might be higher (sex offenders are probably more likely to be caught than illegals keeping a low profile), but in any case, absent some sort of scientific explanation, this doesn't pass the bar for intelligent people, even if they are "real loyal Americans".

Actually, statistics on sex crimes have firmly established that most sex crimes are committed by someone the victim knows, meaning that (racial bigotry aside) white teenage girls still have more to fear from their football playing boyfriend than that "dangerous" illegal alien down the block.

Those are just OP-ED's for partisans who cannot look past their own nose. Try bringing reputable studys with real data...not opinionated news articles with information uncited and without footnotes. Hell if it's going to turn into that, I might as well post people's blogs with estimated numbers.

Even if you consider the 680,000 illegals convicted (which I highly doubt) versus the 36,000,000 you claim to be here; you get a potential prison rate of 1.8%. Meanwhile continental US (according to MSNBC) has:

"about 3.2 percent of the adult U.S. population, or 1 in 32 adults, were incarcerated or on probation or parole at the end of last year."
...2.3% of Americans are serving time in prisons. (this is the jail popuation, not the convicted as the other number above indicates)

Therefore I can conclude that illegal crime rate is no worse than the average American crime rate. Again, the more illigals, the less crime per capita. (of course I would never be naive enough to make this correlation)

The US Bureau of Justice shows an increasing jail population accross the board, for all races and certainly not the 30% you are claiming. 300k Black, 330k White, 110k Hispanic OR 40% Black, 45% White, 15% Hispanic. Also note this is including the accelerating immigration rate (most from Mexico)...yet the jail population remains no different than all other races. Maybe you should be more concerned with the increase of the white jail population!

You are going to need quite a few opinionated articles to knock horns with your federal government's statistics.
