You are going to need quite a few opinionated articles to knock horns with your federal government's statistics.
Your grasp of statistics is very rudimentary, so if I were you I wouldn't brag about it. You make such a mish-mash of official, unoffical, and plainly imaginary statistics that I wonder how you graduated from college.
- the US Census Bureau gives an estimate for "foreign-born population". OP's post was about illegal immigrants. If you can't make the distinction, I'm sorry for you.
- the above alone make all you followup posts irrelevant. You (on purpose or out of ignorance) mix "foreign-born population" with "illegal immigrants". So which "foreign born population" are you talking about? Naturalized citizens? Green card holders? People on work, study, etc. visas? Illegal immigrants?
- I'd like to quote this pearl:

I'll take your word that "foreign born immigrants were on a downward trend" (whatever "foreign born immigrants" means). However, illegal immigration has never been on a downward trend. It has been steadily increasing since 1980 (because of the amnesty, everyone before that shouldn't be considered illegal immigrant).
- your statistics on crime rates is not broken down by population. Is it possible that crimes by everyone but illegals are falling more rapidly than crimes by illegals are increasing? Entirely possible (especially since illegals are about 3%-5% of the population), but unknown since your links are absolutely useless in that regard.
- your jail population statistics fails to take into account that many illegal immigrants who are caught commiting crimes are not imprisoned, but are sent back to Mexico (or their contry of origin, but considering that Mexican illegals are about 80% of all, that's a fair statement). Also the aggregate statistics in that link is not very useful, since I would think that California or Arizona have higher proportion of Hispanic prisoners than Idaho or Montana.
I could go on and on, but the point is that you are in no position to berate the OP. Your conclusions are not supported by the links you gave, and your post demonstrates sloppy thinking (or intentional deceiving). I have failed my students for much less than that.
Somewhere later you claim to support illegal immigration. Do you support illegal immigration to the US only, or to Canada too? Have you advocated your support for illegal acts in Canada so that you can change their much tighter immigration laws?
