Once I hit 1000 posts I just lost the drive to poast as often as I used to. Sure, Lifers are dedicated in what they do but I don't have the time to post much these days. But if I poast inane things I'm sure I could get there in no time.

After 25,000 posts it's all a blur.

ElFenix is 10,626 posts away from hitting the elusive 100,000 mark.

He should reach that in about 1.5 - 2 years.

And what will you gain by having +10K posts?
Is your life gonna be more kewl?
Your epeen will grow?
You'll use that as a pick up line in douche bars?

Don't understand the need, but if it's for your happiness, nef for it OP!!!

I wish they let you change your post count. That way people wouldn't make stupid posts just to increase their numbers.

Showing post counts are like putting breathalyzers in at the bar.

I don't know how many I have. Then again, I've been here for 13 years....almost half of my life. Kinda scary.

edit: oh look, 28k. I'm pretty sure I hit 10k in 2002 or 2003, so clearly I've slowed down.

post count means nothing

Exactly. In the past there have been several threads suggesting removing post counts.

I doubt it will ever happen but who know maybe the "powers that be" will appear and surprise us all :whiste:
