New mobo (8K5A2+) sits here waiting to be installed. Can't wait to crank out the WU's once she's done. XP1600+ is unlocked and will run stable @ 1800+ speeds w/ default 133FSB on my current board (KR7A-Raid). I hear the Epox's will reach 200 FSB with the 1/5 multiplier!! We'll know shortly.

Good luck, and crank that FSB up! You should know Seti loves high FSB speeds! We want results too ;)

I have an 8K3A+ but was only able to get to 177 FSB stable. But I only had PC2100 ram and a bunch of PCI cards. That was with my unlocked 1800 and an unlocked 2000. I have a 1600 I can unlock and try, but with the ram issue again, it may not be worth it. Good luck with your OC and can't wait to see the results!

Welcome back, C. :) I'm curious to see how that works, too. I love my 8KHA+, but I've been curious about the 8K5A2+. I think that's the only board I'd consider moving to.

It's warming up @ 167FSB- not even sweating with my XMS3200 @ maxxed out timings. The XP1600+ is THE budget OC'er chip!! It's running at 167*9.5, at default voltage so far- haven't tried higher yet. Loaded temp is 42C running Seti overnight. I'm expecting to see some sub 3 hr. WU's- my last setup was flirting with 3hr WU's. This board rocks!! My network settings aren't quite right yet with the onboard LAN- I hate networking, but it is handy for backing up stuff and printer/file sharing.
