Wendy's biggie chilli. $1.89 for a decent sized tub of it. 300 calories, 80 of which are from fat. Lots of protien, and decent fiber too. Worst part is the sodium. Oh well. And the best part is, it doesn't taste half bad either.

Good deal for under $2.00.

Schlotzsky's Deli has good grilled chicken salads.

Keep in mind that you can get baked potatoes at Wendy's and Burger King too... They aren't too bad at all as long as you don't smother them with cheese, butter, and sour cream....

<----lost 8 pounds in less than 3 weeks without exercise. :D

I don't do deli's/panera bakery/upper class fast food.

Too much money, for too little food. I'm a cheapass.

SOME Subway's are cheap too. I know, call me wierd. I think that Subway tastes good!

I found that a Subway near a college is $1 cheaper on all sandwiches than one close to my work. So I do a little more driving and save a couple bucks a week or so.

Have you ever been to a Schlotzsky's Deli before? It's about $6.50 for a meal of a filling sandwich, chips, and a drink. The salads are about $4.00-5.00 depending on what you get, but they're very good and very filling.

You're right about the chili though...it's a good buy at Wendy's. I just have trouble believing that it's that good for you because of the ground beef that's in it. I think they may be a little off on the calorie count there...at least I would expect it to have a lot of fat in it. But dang...that's sounding good with the temps as low as they've been lately. MMMM....CHILI!!

I only go to subway when they send out coupons. $1.00 off 12" subs, and better yet, buy one get one free. Usually send those out once every three months or so.

Uhhhh....unfortunately not really. Average sammich has about 500 calories in it. The market fresh and specialty chicken sandwiches are upwards of 800 or more calories.

Linky

Roast beef really isn't any better for you than a big mac or a whopper. I actually didn't believe it either until I looked at the nutritional info.

Oh, I like deli sammiches. Just don't like paying for them :D I go to Quiznos every now and then when I'm on company time so I can charge it on the company CC.

That is crazy. :( I usually eat there at least 3 times a week because I always assumed they were way more healthy then McD's or anywhere else..
