motorcycles do not always register on induction loop triggers for stop lights. i've literally sat at a light for 5+ minutes waiting for a car to pull up behind me or for the light to simply time out and run through the cycle.

So.. on February 9th, 2010.. they were testing a POS system, for a law, that wasn't even a proposed bill?

HB 2193 wasn't even introduced until 2/18/2011, when it was filed with the Clerk by Rep. Susana A. Mendoza... and didn't even pass until 5/31/2011.

Just making sure you understood that the Dems are the ones who caused this bill to make it to their democrat governor who signed it into law.

Without the dems pushing this through, it would never be a law. So we can positively say the dems support this kind of intrusive legislation, which is what Spidey said.

With five gallons of NaOH and some Hydrocloric acid...

Or with NaCl and some ammonia.

If you really want to, you can just use citric acid and baking soda, put it in in a small bearcan and line the indented side with nails.

Or you could just use baking soda and any nitrogenous compound, or whatever you have, if you mix them with high carbon compounds like four or sugar you'lll get a huge fucking blast.

I prefer ammonia and iodine as a soft trigger and ANFO as the load, usually with 200 lbs of nails or bbs.

It's enough to kill everyone in the entire group if spred and cornered right.

I wasn't around for the vinegar story, but I really don't see the problem. I was once carded when buying Hanson's Orange Sodas, which clearly have no alcohol nor are intended to mimic alcohol like, say, Near Beer. We live in a computerized world; someone checks the wrong field and you have to sign for vinegar or show ID to buy a particular orange soda (which by the way I had purchased many times before and after the one isolated incident without being asked for ID.) Shit happens, and if it's really bizarre shit it tends to get mentioned and fixed fairly quickly.

Just mix vinegar and baking soda and salt together. It kills bugs in Drains and everything else on earth. It is a home remedy for Drain Flies. Bug spray and defoggers are toxic also.

What an ugly mess of a law. Note that it also outlaws possession (with exceptions) as well as registering purchases. I could have been cited a good 20 times when I was in my teens had this been in effect for me.

They weren't targeting explosives. They're after acid attacks and similar chemical assaults. (I wonder if pepper spray qualifies?) Of course I suspect such attacks are already illegal in Illinois, but what fun is being a legislator if you can't overreact to some rare tragedy with ill-considered, over-reaching laws ... that won't actually change a damn thing?
