Hey, I'm wondering if anyone else has a 19" benq... I'm not sure if the iKey is broken on my unit, or if I'm just doing something wrong... should anything pop up when I press the key? I noticed in the OSD menu that Auto Setup and Geometry are grayed out... I only have the DVI cable plugged into the monitor and the Vid card and it seems to be working OK. Didn't think I needed DVI and Analog together...

Any tips?

Thanks!

You most likely have to install the software from the disc that came with the LCD in order to get the key working.

Much like a lot of "internet" keyboards with extra buttons galore, monitors now have additional functionality that only works with additional software.

Wanna try using the analog and see? DVI connection may not need the geometry and i-key?

Supposedly when the ikey is pressed, it'll say "adjusting" and moves the screen around a bit.

The ikey does not work, nor is it needed with the DVI.

Hook up the dsub cable and it will work, if you really need it.

actually, on your BenQ cd there is a very small exe utility that you need to save to your HDD somewhere (I dropped it into my drivers folder), then execute the file.

it will put a big grid of gray lines and colored boxes on your display, THEN you press the i key... thats the proper way for it to auto-adjust.

dont you love your monitor?
I have the FP731 17" LCD :)
