The naming of Ikea furniture is usually a matter of simply using a Swedish word or name.
However Ikea in Germany apologized for using 'Gutvik' as a name for a children's bed.

'Gut vik' is namely german slang for a 'good f*ck' :p

Anyways, they named it after a Swedish town..
and did not know what it meant in German

Got the story from a Dutch site, and considering the number of people here who can read Dutch I decided not to bother linking to it ;)

But thanks for the link :)

Maybe it's a PR scam, since IKEA (and the town of Gutvik) will be getting free publicity ;)

Can I get a 'gut vik' over here?

You really need a woman, don't you?
Or a sheep.

Are you a believer of what I read somewhere?:

A woman for procreation
A boy for pleasure
And a sheep for sheer ecstasy!

(or something like that)

LOL!!
