One of my clients is a big fan of using FP 2003 to connect to his web site. He's my only client that cares about this, and I don't know much of anything about FP extensions or FP itself. The issue is that there is a virtual directory (defined in IIS) that is an important part of his web site. When he connects to the site using FP (the 'frontpage extensions' connection option), the virtual directory isn't visible.
I've tried playing with permissions, the virtual directory setup, the web site setup, but I don't know how to get it to appear when looking at the site in FP. I'm guessing that I'm barking up the wrong tree by fiddling with IIS as it seems that the FP client deals directly with the FP part of the server. Do I need to do something in FP administrator? I played with 'subwebs' and I got the directory to appear as a 'web site' in frontpage but I couldn't expand it.
Couldn't find exactly what I needed on Google. What should I be doing and/or where should I be looking to solve this?
Thanks very much!
