I'm looking for a web log analyzer for ASP/IIS and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I've used some on PHP/Apache, but am not familiar with whats good on the MS side of things. Thanks!

Are there any security implications with awstats? My webhost disabled awstats across the board some time ago due to some security issues, and if I'm looking to run this on IIS I've got enough security headahces already :). Thanks for the tip anyway!

There was a security issue with the web frontend, but I believe that was patched. At any rate, I did not realize you were using a webhost. I don't know of any others that are free. Does your webhost provide access to your logs? You might be able to run it locally on your machine if you can d/l them.

No, no, sorry about the confusion. I have a personal site at a webhost that used awstats but then discontinued it for some reason. I'm doing research for my boss for a log analyzer for work, where we run IIS/ASP. I looked at the awstats page and it sounds like they patched it for now....I think I'd still have to install Perl on the server or a workstation that we would use to read the logs. Thanks!
