You should measure the performance of your graphics cards with the applications you use most with them, rather than Windows' built-in benchmark.

In all seriousness, igpu sucks. Draws more power, lower performance and no driver controls for your card.

I can't believe it was a selling point for me in regards to z68

igpu allows me to use my computer and even play MW2 until I can scratch up enough money for a dedicated GPU. For 90% of the things I do on the computer it's fine... it's that other 10% I need a GPU for.

If by general gaming you mean Farmville and solitaire.

buying my new laptop for 370euro
was a great deal and the igpu is not that bad
i actually play some old games i liked so no problem there.
i have a few issues with the video but i do not know why that is ??
codec issue?? player issue??? windows issue??
with the same codecs and player under windows xp i had no problem at all
so igpu maybe not been able to play skyrim or what ever it is out there
well for the first time in history civilization is actually so heavy that is used in benchmarks lolllllllll
if you want lower cost that is the way
and by the way i do not know that really a dedicated card has more perfomance for watt consuming do you know a site making this
with anand
5770 max 108watt fps crysis 18.7 for every 1 fps needs 5.77watt
6970 max 250watt fps crysis 39.1 for every 1 fps needs 6.31watt

actually the perfomance per watt or per fps is worse.
http://www.anandtech.com/show/4263/amds-radeon-hd-6450-uvd3-meets-htpc
form anand article
5450 19.1watt crysis fps 33.9 for every 1 fps needs 0.56watt
6450 27.0watt crysis fps 60.7 for every 1 fps needs 0.45watt
5570 61.0watt crysis fps 93.3 for every 1 fps needs 0.65watt

so even with anand articles the better the card does not mean the better in watt /perfomanse
yes intel could have spend a few million more to make better drivers for the igpu that it would not suck that much though
