Nope. 8800GT is faster than any IGP ever made.

HD 4200 is 40 shaders @ 500mhz, 4 texture units and 4 ROPs.
HD 2900XT is 320 shaders @ 740mhz, 16 texture units and 16 FOPs and 106 GB/sec of memory bandwidth.

8800GT is faster than 2900XT: http://firingsquad.com/hardware/nvidia_geforce_8800_gt_performance/images/wic1600.gif

It's going to be another 2-3 years before an IGP is as fast as the 8800GT.

Thanks figured and kinda knew as much.
So just disable the 4200 and let it rot then right? I can use them in combination for anythign real can I?

You can run extra screens on it. Other than that the very presence of it might turn off your hardware physx/cuda capabilities completely because it's detected as an ATI card.

Yeha I figured extra screens.
If I disable in bios though, physx/cuda shouldn't be affected as Windows wouldn't even see the IGP then.
