It doesn't happen too often, but every now and then, APC's Powerchute causes the computer to go into hibernation without any reason...no power failure and no apparent spikes. I spoke to APC's tech support about this some time ago, but they didn't give me any usable answers.

However, I could live with the problem, if the computer would awake from hibernation as it should, but it won't. I have to shutdown and power up again, and that causes anything stored in hibernation to be lost. I have the motherboard jumpered to awake on keyboard or mouse activity, but for some reason these have stopped working. Any ideas about a solution?

Nevermind. Somehow, the keyboard powerup option in the bios had gotten disabled. I've have to wait until PowerChute hibernates again to see if the problem remains.
