I just quoted what I thought would be inappropriate for these forums and figured that the mods would act on it. I also got the feeling that he'd edit out the post after people posted their first reaction. Of course, this was true. Either way, the original content was preserved.

What business is it of yours? Sure, it was immature and in bad taste; he removed it after thinking better of it. That's the end of it.

If your concern is that the content is so offensive, you kept the offending content visible to the viewing public for far longer than it would have otherwise been available....that doesn't make any sense.
