Ignorant Stupid Selfish Co-Worker. Pisses me off.

A lot of people on Tuesday resisted the urge to smack her really hard but if she keeps running her damn mouth it just might happen. As soon at the magnitude of the disaster began to emerge, she began sprewing crap about how "all foreigners should be deported" and a whole lot of other hateful crap. One girl was so upset she started to cry.

This afternoon someone left the toaster oven on a higher setting. So what does dumb bitch do? She slams the oven and starts running off about how if all the "dumb foreigners" were shipped off yesterday she wouldn't have ruined her bread. WTF??? It was a stupid piece of toast. I told her to shut the hell up because she was upsetting people. She gave me a hateful look and said she was dead serious. I told her that I was born and raised in New York City so where would they ship me off to?

Then someone else stepped in and told her to calm down. Then she asked the guy if he agreed with her. He told her no he did not since he is a French citizen here on a work visa. He then told her that more than 2/3 of the engineers in the office were transfers from corporate HQ in ** surprise surprise ** Europe. She got this look on her face of disbelief. Seems she was shocked that forigners didn't look the the supposid "enemy" she envisioned. The guy then told her she was more than welcome to quit the company if she didn't want to associate with foreigners.

Two people have already reported her to HR. Stupid and selfish. She acts as if Americans are the only ones affected by everything. The ignorance of some people never ceases to amaze me. :| I hope to see her packing her desk within a week.

that's what I call racism. I am a foreign student and I really feel sorry for what happened but it doesn't mean that all foreigners are bad people.

It can also go the other way though. We have a number of auto wrecking yards in the city I live in whose owners are of arab decent. I have been to these businesses a number of times and they tend to be very rude. My way of dealing with this is I just don't do business there any more. I heard on a local talk radio show from a man that went into one of these businesses today and was told by one of the employees behind the counter that he (the employee) was muslim and that they (the muslims) bombed people and killed them and that he was proud. The caller said he notified the local authorities.
