I bought this a few days ago, http://www.priceisright.biz/product.asp?0=421&1=423&3=693

but it doesn't really work completely, so I'm going to send it back. I'm wondering then if I can just put it in an envelope or something and send it off..or do I have go to the PO to ship it? It's about 2"x3"x0.5", and definitely weighs less than a pound..and would like to avoid the hassles that is the post office

Please use common sense when shipping items. If I were to ship that to you in an envelope what would you think?

I wouldn't. They might give you a hard time and blame you that unrelated damage from shipping caused the problem.

Yes of course you can put that in an envelope. Of course the merchant you bought it from will send the smashed pieces back to you in the same envelope denying your warranty/return claim and laugh at the idiot you are.

screw that, just slap a stamp on the front of it and drop it in the mail. ;)
