Not too sure... but i'm sure there's a reason why he was wearing a kevlar jacket and was kept in solitary confinement.

no i meant did they start descriminating against all whites because tim mcveigh bombed okc? no, so why should they act the same way towards muslims etc.

because muslims are of a different skin color and their "foreigners". well, at least that's their reasoning. and they're supposedly dirty, lying, cheating, spying, non-christian, etc.

on a slightly unrelated note, sikhs are really cool imho.

First off, McVeigh didn't represent 'whites'... he represented the militias (whether they wanted him to or not).

But I don't live in the US, so i don't know... but i would imagine the images of the militias definitely dropped.

yea i think that's weezergirl's point, they view bin laden as a representative of muslims, yet they don't view mcveigh as representative of whites. it is hypocritical in a sense....

and yea, the images of militias dropped... even further, i'm not sure they ever had popular support.

Ignorance sucks. You really can't blame these idiots, they have a very small left brain and an oversized right brain the total of which is pretty small.

I'm sorry but how did the idea of slamming someone with obcentities, and personal insults suddenly become an intelligent way to argue w/ someone???

You could certainly get your point across without doing so. Mr/Mrs "USARULES" there is a sad case. If he's honestly too ignorant to even know what our country is founded upon (religous, personal freedom, and built by imagrants). Then not only is he a serious sad case, but he's most likely his own worst enemy, and there's no need to even acknowledge his sorry existance really, but if you must argue. Do yourself/selves a favor, and try not to come off as ignorant as he/she does. Trust me. These types usually self-destruct anyway. No need to be an accomplice. :D

It really is a shame that people are doing such acts. We are all Americans here. I find it funny how it seems as though they are worried that they will be mistaken for Muslims, yet they don't seem worried about Muslims themselves. Why is someone a "bad person", because of his/her religion/origin?

Anyone with a shred of common sense must be able to see that just because a green guy does something. Not all green guys are bad. Same thing with those purple fellows etc. ;)

These "geniuses" don't even know what/who they are really looking for. They just have no inteligent way of difussing their anger/frustration/testoserone etc., and or just like acting/being violent and they feel they will/are somehow justified due to OUR nations hurt. What possible good could come of such actions? I mean if they actually bothered to think, before reacting, or even tried to answer that simple question. I hope they'd realize just how amzingly moronic the whole vigilantism idea is.

We have no right to take the law into our own hands, unless we personally are attacked, and even then laws vary by state. Even if we did have an absurd right to do so. It would still be morally wrong.

I beg all of you to not only not do such acts, but if you by chance happen to see such absurdities happening. Please help your fellow Americans no matter what race/creed/color/religion they may seem to be. That is what our police, and justice systems are for after all.

If you see someone/something suspicious. Call the police. We pay them all a very good wage to do this job already. Why would you possibly want to end up on the other side of them by taking matters into your own hands anyway? While I've never been to one. I doubt prison is very pleasant at all. That is where you'll end up if you do so. Sorry, but it's not "okay" to hurt someone, even if they are *gasp*Muslim*gasp*. :Q

If you want to help our country out. Go volunteer, give blood, or maybe console someone who's scared (like a child, or elderly person for instance), and confused about these astonishing events. If you have enough energy to beat up some innocent person. Then you most certainly have enough energy to go pick up some rubble no?

This is ignorance in it's purest form. If these people commiting these crimes had so much as spent a day w/ one Muslim, and got to know him/her as a person, before this happened. I doubt they'd have the stomach to do these things. The Muslims I've met in my life are certainly not scarey, violent people like Bin Laden. They were, well they were just people like everyone else. I went to school w/ two twins who were born in Saudi Arabia (not even sure what religion they are, nor do I care).

They were some of the nicest people I went to school with. I actually ran into one of them just over a year ago. He had just bought a new home, and invited me over on the spot since he was having a house warming party that night (I saw him at the gas station). I just swung by for an hour, or so. Turns out his wife went to our school too. I must say though w/ all those families there, and their really mean looking cocker spaniel. I did have a vauge sense of fear that at any second these women, and children could come at me with the knives they were using to cut the pizza's they ordered. It was very scarey. I mean after all there were people of foreign origin there!!! :Q

I for one would like to apologize to our fellow Americans, for my fellow Americans for their incredible ignorance. I'd also like to say that I for one would prefer you stay, and add to the wonderful diversity that is the USA, and that thankfully not all of us are ignorant. I'd be scared to find out the actual percentage that are though, as I feel even 1% is too much, and it's most certainly more then that. :(

I'd also like to recommend that you move to an area say near an Ivy League University, preferably where the professers live. I think the inteligence in those areas would make it a much needed safe haven. :p

Plain, and simple. Ignorance is the most violent element in society.

PS if anything I said here seems sarcastic to you in anyway. You just may be on to something. :p

While it is deplorable some morons feel they can lash out at people who were probably not involved at all, lets not forget the safety factor of an arab visiting

When I was in Saudi Arabia (a supposed ally), I had a personal guard with a fully automatic machine gun that had to escort me everywhere I went and I was told not to leave my hotel at night.

In America no matter what you think now, the situation for Arabs here is FAR different and everyone knows it.

Lets not forget that these countries these people come from have a record of going after American citizins. You can hardly make this case against America even now.

Texmaster, based on this and other posts you have made, I hope that for your sake you really do meet more diverse people than the ones you have learned to think this way from. You radiate your ignorance with every word you write.
