This is why I believe "get out to vote" campaigns are clearly against our best interests. All they do is encourage people who are the most ignorant to project their voices.

I think there is something simply incorrect about the most ignorant people in a country being able to vote on matters they demonstrably know nothing about. Democracy is hugely weakened by large voter turnouts when many of those turning out are complete idiots.

Well I criticized the Palestinians when they voted for Hamas. People need to take responsibility for their actions. What really sucks though is when you have half the population who is retarded and the other half has to suffer. The Palestinians got screwed and we got screwed since only 40 something percent of the people vote for one side.

LOL, so Ted Cruz says something and it's an example of Fox News heavy influence on the population, even though it is only watched by a tiny fraction of the population? More brilliance! ;)

Winning.

It's funny how many of the biggest misconceptions are linked to views very susceptible to confirmation bias. Some of those European countries censored news networks and strong punishments for espousing views that can be perceived as hateful/bigoted. I think it's amazing how people will allow themselves to overestimate the effects that broadcast propaganda has on influencing the peons when what they experience/perceive themselves is always going to have a stronger effect. Just look at all the washed-up, middle-aged ex-right wingers once enjoying their jobs, feeling like men that had made a living for themselves. The day they truly care about Wei, Jose, or Ali is when they start moving into the neighborhood and stealing their jerbs. That's the moment "they've taken over" and the privileged nth-generation Amerishits get up in arms and start seeing a Muslim or Mexican around every corner. Of course, the op is too busy masturbating to his delusions of being a well-informed individual above all those TV-watching plebs to actually care about the significance of the study.

It's easier to see what's going on in your country if it's small rather than large like the USA.
