I just finished them....

And no, it's not another hardware forum ala the rest of these I see. :p :D

I have a couple Photoshop forums, a couple airsoft forums, and a couple other ones planned.

And yes, I made the theme from scratch. :D

and finally, after 3 days, my forums are back up again. link in sig.. spread the word.. go sign up. :)

after seeing your forum linked in so many sigs, i decided to venture over to the Rallispec forums. I was happy...they're kinda neat. I did a search on the "adult" locked post and thought it was pretty funny. Still waiting to sign up, but very nice forums!

I like the look of Invision, you have your own forums right?

How many active members do you have and what's your bandwidth usage per month in MB or GB?

weird, somebody else got an error signing up the other day too... i'll have to tell the admin there about that and see if they can find the problem.

i like invision board a lot, however i like the customability of phpbb.. i'm working on a really cool template now that won't even resemble php when i'm done with it..

i got this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class skin_global in /home/virtual/site67/fst/var/www/html/forums/Skin/s1/skin_global.php on line 3

it's also weird that on the registration page, it's doubled. 2 sets of places to enter your username/pw/email/TOS agreement..

i shot the admin a email as well to let him know..

i like invision board as well. hopefully in time (it's still pretty new compared to phpbb), it'll be more customizable.

How does one go about Modding the look of phpBB2? What files do you have to edit and recode?

It's on the PHPBB forums, for one.

Second...you have to edit about 18 files, and about 90 lines of code for each theme. Then you edit each and even picture/button, then tweak the colors in the Style Management part of the administration panel.

It takes a little time. :)

if anyone is interested in setting up a forum but doesnt have hosting, you can goto MyIBF.com for free hosting of Invision Board Forums. you're board will be http://whatever.myibf.com . only thing that you'll notice is a little banner ad on the top right.. but it's not that bad.. here's the one i created myibf forum :)
