If you're talking on your cellphone does it make you invincible?

So I'm driving to work on a 4 lane highway and we come to a traffic light....it's red...it changes to green and just as we're getting through the intersection, this stupid lady on a cellphone starts to walk when she DOESN'T have a walk signal.

What is it with stupid men/women/children/mimes with cellphones? They think their conversation is more important than their safety and well being. I mean, with the exception of the mime from silent movie, they don't even talk on the phone! I honked at the girl and told her she was in the wrong place and she better pray that she doesn't get hit by someone before they get their coffee, but she just gave me attitude. Maybe we should weed these people out so they don't reproduce.

If wouldn't be vehicular assault, unless th driver is absolute idiot and confessed to purposefully hitting her.

One would assume that had the OP actually done that, he wouldn't have come here to brag about it.

All the OP would have to say is "I looked up and saw I had a green light, but didn't see a pedestrian... she must've darted in front of me."

yeah, that's what i was thinking too, that's why i inserted the "with him/her posting here" more of like hindsight for the law enforcement.
