can you recognize when someone is doing something else? Like, he's not paying attention to the conversation? A Co-Worker just called and I could clearly notice that he was sending an email :)

yeah, i can tell when someone is eating, or watching tv, or smoking. they ask you to repeat crap back to them like 10 trillion times.

i browse the web, post here, and im while talking on the phone. multitasking! your brain should be able to handle it, you know.

Well, when I hear *kerplunks* followed by the sounds of water rushing out of earshot, I automatically assume the other person is being inconsiderate by talking while spelunking... People and their caves... :confused:

A good majority of the time I can. Usually I say something really weird and see if they're gonna catch it. Rarely ever do.
