I don't think that is technically a loop. More like a high banking 360 degree turn.

technically its an inclined loop.

i'd do it, but I'd be freaking out the whole time. And loving it :D
My fear of falling gets me on water slides. Rollercoasters don't bother me nearly as much because I know I am secured, but water slides are so open. And so fun. Love the rush.
The super steep water slides freak me the hell out, but ultimately are worth the rush. Actually having any kind of loop would nearly terrify me and would probably require some convincing, but I'd do it, and would probably be shaking prior to the platform dropping. :)

I actually gotta wonder if they'd even allow it. It might cause too much drag and be a little unpredictable. They don't want someone going too slow in the loop.
This kind of water slide wouldn't be a problem in Germany, obviously, because it seems so many people wear speedos over there. Gotta wonder though, because no one in the video had board shorts.

I think so. It was the same lady that went in the end, her straps are translucent and with video quality, it looked like she was topless in teh beginning.

There is a water slide at Wet N Wild in Orlando that has a rocket ship with a floor that drops out. No loop but the first few feet you drop your back is actually off the slide and it kinda curves under you. Gotta be close to an 80 degree angle overall and very very fast. Did that several years back and it's pretty friggin cool.

When I was in Germany I'd say maybe 30-40% of guys wore speedos, the rest wore swimming shorts. Although that doesn't tell whether they would be allowed or not on the slide.
