I just heard on the radio that someone jumped off a building in hawaii... I guess that sort of stuff happens all the time, but they fell 42 stories to land on top of a van. The van was crushed and the driver is in critical condition in the hospital. Kinda bothers me that someone would do something that dramatic and hurt someone else in the process just because they're not enough of a person to stand up for their own life... :disgust:
 
How about the guy who was blocking traffic on a bridge because he was threatening to jump off it. The people stuck in traffic got pissed of waiting and basically to hurry up and jump already because he was holding thing up. And he did end up jumping.
 
A girl I went to school with years ago, stopped on the middle median on I-75. She got out of the car, waited for an 18-wheeler, and then just walked out in front of the truck. Can you imagine having to live with that? Running over a 21 year old girl in your truck during the middle of the day?
 
If you insist on offing yourself take an overdose of pills. Shooting yourself in the head makes a mess as does jumping off a building or stepping in front of a truck. Another sanitary way of doing yourself in would be to shut the doors of your garage, starting your car up and asphyxiating yourself

Yah, I heard about that on the news. And no it doesn't happen here all the time. The guy jumped off a building in Waikiki (tourist area) during rush hour. 🙁

He was a dumb ass...should've at least waited till there was no cars. That's messed up that the lady got hurt for nothing. 🙁

I remember that. It was in DC (on the Wilson bridge, I-95) about 3 years ago. He ended up blocking traffic and stopping hundreds of thousands of people for at least 3 hours. In the end, the police shot him in the leg with a bean bag gun, but he limped to the edge of the bridge and jumped off. And broke his leg in the mud.

I don't know, if I was going to kill myself I think I would go for hanging. Tie one end of the rope to a balcony, fairly long rope too, and jump off head first. No strangling, neck would snap and that would be that. Seems fairly clean and quick.

Most people who kill themselves have some kind of mental illness and when they are pushed to the brink and do commit suicide they're obviously not thinking straight, are they? We need more money and facilities for the mentally ill instead of just throwing them on the street with no support because Bush wants to give more money to his Masonic overlords.
