If you're going to call tech support...

Agreed. My experiences with calling microsoft were horriable in part because I couldn't find anyone I could understand.

Well oddly enough, I transfer this guy who speaks CHINGLISH to a Tier2 agent who just happened to be fluent in the same language! Yay for them and their disability. They should be parked in handycapped spots, preferrably under the cars.

No one is as perfect as you 🙁

I wish speaking english meant you were perfect. Then maybe I could get a decent paying job... that was if they weren't sending them all overseas.

That sounds good, but I don't give a crap what people overseas are doing, as long as they're not calling me or interacting with me in any way, shape, or form.

...well unless they're filling a job that I could be doing for a decent wage.

I've been on the phone with Microsoft tech support almost every day since June 25th. Most times they call ME and I must confess that I have had so much difficulty understanding them that I cannot even get their names.

For what it's worth at least I got their toll free number.

wow i didnt know microsoft was on the overseas bandwagon, too. Their tech support used to be top notch. Of course, that's why their stuff was so god damned expensive...

I'd be happy if the people at work would even try to look at the problem first instead of calling us and trying to get us to wait to see IF a problem occurs. I hate call like that. "Hi, I had a problem like 2 or 3 months ago, and even though I do this everyday, I wanted to have you on the line in case there's a problem so I don't have to hold." Nevermind that there's 10 people waiting behind her and she's making them wait. :|

Of course, we've had a problem with people calling us for every sodding little problem (ones that we don't handle) since someone thought it would be a great idea to put little orange stickers all over the place with our number. The best one recently was a store that called us because of a gas leak and wanted to know if we could turn off the gas (calling the fire dept or evacuating the store hadn't occurred to them till we asked).

err shouldnt this be revised to:

If your going to work as Tech Support, Learn to speak english?

Your is for possession. You're means you are, as in the sentence "If you are going to call tech support...".

You should have learned the difference in the 2nd grade. 😛

The L in learn is not capitalized, and the E in English should be.

C'mon! Speaking and writing are completely separate things.

The one great thing about overseas support is that if someone is being an asshole, I hang up on them and there's a good chance their call is going overseas... that will teach them a lesson to respect their continental tech support.

I can not stand Dell tech support. I have convinced my friends not to buy dells because even tho they get "tech support" for however many years it is from a guy who is from another country, speaks english as a second language, and most likely hates people calling for stupid reasons so the few times he does get a decent question he is so fed up he doesn't really help. And even when they do try to help they are usless. If anyone would like some examples of this, please just say the word, i have at least 3 horror stories from dell tech support.

Knowing hindi doesnt help .... trust me...

I speak hindi and english, live in India... and Dell support still sux!
