If you're a lefty with good handwriting

Having a debate, and someone says there are no left handed people with good hand writing. Help me prove this guy wrong. (Damned righties)

Unfortunatly that guy is correct.
I am left handed, and incapable of reading my own handwriting.
None of the other left handers in my family are capable or writing legible letters either.
I have never met a left handed person who could write decently.

My g/f is a lefty and has very legible writing it is actually very neat. She however does not hold a pen like a typical lefty which is very odd because I have never seen a lefty hold a pen like a righty.

Left handed and I write worst than a doctor.... I'm pretty sure I could stick a pen up a monkeys butt and it running around in pain would look better than my handwriting.

I write left handed, and my handwriting is okay, when I take the time. I always print though. I don't consider myself truly left handed though, as I do practically everything else right handed.

My right-handed writing is abysmal, but my left-handed boys are WORSE! I tried like crazy to get them to write right-handed, but neither would. Not that it would help their penmanship, but simply be far easier, since you have to write from left to right without exception. Both use the mouse right-handed, so don't tell me they couldn't have adapted to right-handed writing.

If I had a scanner or camera I'd show my handwriting. I am a lefty and my handwriting is quite good.

I used to write left handed. I became very annoyed, usually ending up with pencil smeared onto my hand from writing. So, I taught myself to write with my right hand, and that's the way I've written ever since.

How the hell did you manage that?

I fractured my wrist twice when I was in school, and it would take me an hour to write a single sentence with my right hand. Also, it would look just as bad as when written with my left hand.

i'm a lefty and i used to get A+ in handwriting in elementary school. i must have literally matched the handwriting sheets.

anyway, i don't have a picture of my handwriting now, but i'll consider doing it later and bumping the thread accordingly.

I'm a lefty. Because we write from left to right, efties drag our hand across freshly written stuff and it smears. We compensate by changing the angle of our hand which affects the quality of our handwriting.
