If your video card has 2 Dvi connectors, Does that mean that a lcd has 2 have to dvi connectors?

Nope. Attach just one of the dvi-outs to the dvi-in on your monitor. Two are provided for dual-monitor functionality.

usually this is the case. also know only 1 port in the vast majority of cases supports 3d overlay, so you cant stretch a game out on both screens unless the card specifically supports it, i.e. the matrox parhelia.
