If your spouse/SO were cheating on you, would you want to know?

Inspired by the "possibly cheating neighbor" thread, I'm curious: Is ignorance bliss? If you DON'T want to know, what would you think when you found out that someone knew and didn't tell you after everything was out in the open?

Let's make this distinction right off the bat: Ongoing, continual cheating, not a one time sex session. I think that does make a difference.

Yes, of course. I wouldn't want to waste my life with someone that was just using me. That said, I would hope I'd be smart enough to notice things before they got bad to the point that other people had to tell me.

Edit: Even if it was a one time thing, I'd want to know.

No, no -- don't confuse the question. It's quite straightforward. Yes, it's out of context from the other situation, but it's a simple yes or no here.

But a stranger? It better be something concrete with some evidence. Because if it turns out some random Joe Stranger made me suspect my wife for nothing (which possibly caused a heated argument with accusations flying all over - something she will never forget/forgive me for), I would go medieval on his ass.

That's a good point. If it were a stranger I would want some evidence for sure.

I would want to know so I could end the relationship right then, I would never want to be with someone who cheated, under any circumstances. Call my cruel but I would never forgive my SO for something like that.

id want to know, but as mentioned already, if it was from a stranger id have to have something concrete as evidence

and yes, mosh, neighbors can be strangers. i always though it was weird, but it wasnt unusual for my parents to go our of their way to get to know more than one or two of their nieghbors. shy of a couple over the years my dad had grown up with, or did business with, we didnt know most of the people who lived near us.

thing is, i caught someone cheating on me before(before anything had actually happened), and would hope that in the future ill notice it if it happens again.
