how would that be living vicariously?

Because being a Special Forces soldier is something I've always wanted to do. It's my alter ego of sorts, seriously. I'm not talking playing Rainbow Six and thinking I could do the job, I could do the job. If I hadn't met my wife, I'd probably be doing it right now. I'd be living through my "alter ego" so to speak.

I agree.

It's hard to say how long I would wait, but life is too short and far too precious to waste it moping around wanting to kill yourself.
