Ok, i'm running my system on an underrated non-AMD approved powersupply (230watt). I know that's not the best thing but i'm planning on getting a new one. I just installed Asus's PC Probe on it because that came with my A7. Now it said my -5 volt was closer to -6. I guess it didn't like it, That was flashing saying -5 out of threshold. I immediatly shut that down and am now on my Pentium 200. Now, i'm guessing that the voltage probs are stemming from the low power supply. I'm also assuming that the 5volts probably supplies my processor after a bit of stepping down and such. The Asus PC probe also says my processor is running at 57c, which is inside it's thereshold but i doubt that it's healthy. My bet is that the -5v that's off is forcing the board to give my processor to much power, making it heat up. Basically i'm raising the voltage to it like an overclocker. You guys think this is about right?
