if your not planning on using xfire, would u buy xfire board?

im going to be buying 1900xt. if im not planning on getting a 2nd card shouldn't i just a good SLI board. right now i don't like any of the xfire boards. if yes, what board would u recommend? OC'ing is a def. plus as well as features. ive always been asus guy.
 
I don't know why you would get an SLI board if you are going to get an ati card. You should just get a plain nforce 4 mb without sli and save some money.
 
If you want to play games. just get any motherboard with a PCIe slot and you will have fun. If you want to spend time benchmarking and trying to get the 2 extra FPS that don't make a difference anyway, then keep posting, reading, wondering, searching, arguying, ...

Notice that you'll loose playing time doing that..

Pick up a board that has everything you need, get it and game.
