This reminds me of a story of some poor mofo who was playing badminton with his glasses on (everyone does of course just as with almost any other sport) but his glasses were actually 'glass' not plastic as many of the new lenses are. His opponent hit a particularly hard smash toward his face. The birdie smashed one of his lenses and the shards of glass went into his eye.

His eyeball had to be REMOVED.

Your eyelids can be replace with skin from your scrotum. The only drawback is that when you see a hot babe your eyes bug out and your tongue gets hard.

I think you could make a prosthetic eyelid, and it would blink as long as the muscles were still intact, although nerve damage could prevent it. You'd have to use eyedrops though, it wouldn't be as good as naturally rewetting the eye.
