how much was talent, how much was learned?

excluding things like media art for the sake of conversation, more like figure drawing, environments, painting etc.

how bad were you when you first started? or did you pickup a pencil and instally jot out like michealangelo.

Aristry isn't something you can teach someone else. It's something you can mentor and guide someone else in if they already have the spark.

your a motivational speaker im guessing? 😀
i don't consider myself devoid of talent, just not sure how much applying yourself can improve it.

I used to be fairly good. My mom was an art teacher though, so I really don't know when any sort of informal training may have started

to be an actual good creative artist youre right, you cant be taught. To be another thomas kinkade ya you can be taught that. I guess it depends on if you have any pride and love for what you do. If youre in it to make some $ and whore yourself out to the highest bidder then I think tom has a school for that.
