I've made 8.1 work just like 7 using Start8 and a little utility that allows Win 7 gadgets to run on the 8.1 desktop.

Exactly. I get all the under-the-hood improvements of 8.1 with a 7 user interface.

My best os would be one you can do and change the way it looks.like desktop.folders.pictures view.a bit like mixing Xp with vista windows 7 and also 8. well i guest that would be like windows 9:whiste:

You could also argue a lot of users are getting lazy and need to be spoon fed 😉 .


Best of OS is hard call,I've fond memories of DOS 6.22,I guess modern times would be a Linux distro which IMHO runs rings around any Windows OS including Win7 in terms of layout etc..


Now only if I could have Linux and DX12 I would be very happy 🙂.
