I did a google search and couldn't find any conclusive evidence that it's going to kill you if you drink it. Whether it will quench your thirst remains to be seen too.

According to the MSD for motor oil given above, it's actually non-toxic but continued ingestion will cause lung problems.

Dying of thirst is not pleasant at all. The oil wouldnt be fun, but it would certainly be much faster.
