which one would you choose and why? 😕

well im looking at a car no more than 20k, so then my budget is kind of tight. More towards the sportier type, but open to all suggestions. This is going to be my first car, used to commute to school everyday, about a 20 min drive.

I was looking at the tC, mainly because of its appeal, and the interior I thought was pretty nice. The Civic, in which we all know has been around for a while, has made its reputation as a first-timer kind of car, affordable yet, kind of worth it?

So give me your feedback.

I dont trust scion (they are too new to the game), but the TC does look pretty.

brand name and knowing honda's rep for solid cars wins my vote over some new company marketed towards younger kids (20-35ish demograph). we all know cars marketed towards younger ppl tend to be cheaper and less quality


i know Toyota makes Scion but i still dont trust it
 
Are you talking about the 2-door or 4-door Civic EX SE? If 2-door, I'd choose the Tc. If 4-door, I'd choose the Civic. I don't like the look of the current-gen Civic Coupe.
 
tC, I think it's a sexy little car that isn't nearly as well known as the civic. By looks alone, I would think it was a 20-25K car if I didn't know better.

They definitely look better than the Civic. I am really hoping that they prove to be as reliable as they should be, being made by Toyota.

It's a good thing that Honda is revamping the SI model, because there a few cars out there now that are going to start taking a bite out of it. (Mazda 3 anyone?)
 
the Tc is supposed to be a small car, so if your a bigger guy its gunna be hard to fit into it, was it NFS4 saying he hit his head on the ceiling?

If your choices are limited to only those two, I'd get the Civic, but they're way overpriced. Find a used one. You'll still be overpaying, just not as much.
