im not a US citizen but ive lived here LEGALLY for most of my life. ive been to a lot of places and seen a lot of things and i can tell you one thing... AMERICA IS THE BEST DAMN COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. even if you dont agree with its politics, the war, the president, im pretty sure if you are here that you realize that overall its still the best place to live, mostly because of the freedoms we have.

people take the whole freedom thing for granted... its wasnt free. it was paid by people who died for this country. all these people saying that "i dont believe in this war so im not fighting" dont realize that serving in the military isnt just about fighting against iraq... its about fighting FOR your country. if you dodge the draft, they will find a replacement so you are screwing him too.

i signed up for the american selective service because i live here and have been enjoying many of the freedoms and benefits of living here. for all the rights and priviledges america gives us, it only fair to contribute in any way you can when it needs you.

I wish more people who were born here held your view. It is sad how many selfish people take this country for granted.
