Hello kind sir or madame. I've found myself in the unfortunate situation of being without home or job. Perhaps you could spare some loose change or, possibly, a dollar? I'd really appreciate it and your donation would go to one of a few things. Food, a place to sleep for the night, drink, clothes, a haircut, a shower, etc. I do hope you will find it in your heart to donate. Fifty cents may only mean a can of soda in the early afternoon to you, but it could be the difference of a meal or no meal for me.

I wouldn't beg. If I were that desperate and couldn't get help from the plethora of shelters, churches, and other groups I'd just steal. I'd rob your ass blind.
