If you wear a baseball/peaked cap indoors you're a massive douchebag.

Actually I agree with this. I don't wear a hat when I eat, ever.

As I said though, perfectly acceptable to rock my fedora at a club while I get my draaank on.

Damn no unless you're JT or Don Draper, Fedoras are not acceptable anywhere.

Meh, it's just how I was brought up; hard to shake those things when they've been ingrained in you since pretty close to birth. /shrug

i'd out-etiquette you any day of the week :p i actually think it would be a lot more weird to see you sitting there eating with hat hair on, sitting next to your hat.

Well I don't generally go to fast food places, but yes, if I were wearing a hat and decided to go to Taco Bell, I would remove my hat prior to eating. I guess people just don't give a shit about etiquette anymore. :colbert:

KT

Even the taco bell workers wear hats. You gotta follow the culture man!

Well it's moot since I don't keep these beautiful locks under wraps to begin with.

Sorry, it must be hard for you to know that I actually am attractive enough to wear a fedora. And yes, the girls I danced with said it looked good on me :awe:.

Wearing sunglasses indoors is a douchebag-stamp in my book though.

A big F*ck you to people complaining about people wearing sunglasses indoors. I grew up with an autoimmune disease that made my eyes super sensitive to light. I got tons of shit for it from kids at school and random people as well. So I started wearing my sunglasses indoors. Then people start giving me shit about wearing sunglasses...."oooh, four eyes!" Scarred for life.

F*ck off.

Fedoras don't really look good on anybody. If you can't wear one while kicking ass, in bed, or in a sports car, they are just - no.

This is incorrect. Some people can pull it off, and I'm sure Buddha is one of them. Also a fedora on a good looking girl = :awe:

Not for the cap, but eating in a restaurant without a shower; indeed.

seriously? I'm presentable and I use deodorant! :)

the thing is where do you draw the line then? I mean cheesecake factory has a bunch of kids in there so it's a pretty lax place ...

Not everyone is bald like you man. :p Doing one's hair often involves blow drying, products, and styling. OR you can put on a hat after the shower. Trust me, if I was black, I'd spend an hour doing my hair. I'm Asian, which means my hair is a mess if I don't spend time with it. Not everyone is blessed with the easy comb down hair (or baldness). The things whities enjoy and they don't even know about it ;) (well, unless you're white and bald, then them's the breaks) Now if I subscribed to the buzzcut newsletters, I would not be cool like yours truly.

BTW, I've worn baseball caps for several decades...the ONLY place where NOT removing your cap MIGHT be appropriate during a meal, is in a truck stop...and odds are, MOST of the truckers will also remove their caps while eating.

Most of my life, I was either in a hard hat or ball cap...yet I nearly always removed my had while indoors...and ALWAYS while eating.

Old generation habit I guess.
Ah, ok...you're gay. Why didn't you just say so in the first place?

Sorry...not bald, although my "widow's peaks" have gotten a bit taller over the years.
(do you seriously not remember the "hippie pic" I posted a while back?)

if Im wearing a hat indoors Im doing some kind of work that would get lots of shit in my hair, its freezing cold, or I've been doing some kinda nasty work and my hair is a mess

so no if I wore one to BK I wouldnt take it off when eating

I wouldnt wear it anywhere nice enough that it would be rude to not take it off, because I would take a shower first

i don't really have an issue with people wearing them inside, however if you are inside to eat TAKE YOUR FUCKING HAT OFF

when i was in HS the pro hat morons did a walkout because they objected to the school enforcing the no hats in class rule

Uh, no. And if you get louder, there will be a big ole nasty phrase directed back to you! :)
