Yeah, I think the new stand looks very sleek and awesome.

The new stand isn't nearly as tall and even though it's shorter it's not as stable, many are slightly off level which drives me nuts.

yeah, I have both and while the new stand looks bettery, the old one is much studier.

Yeah, I had both until I discovered the image quality problems with the 2407/2007. I could deal with the cheaper stand but the image quality drove me nuts. I went through 4 replacements as new revisions were released but was never as happy as my 2405 so Dell refunded.

You'd prob get a refurb 2405 with a few dead pixels, don't do it.

Dell TV's have service tag but monitors generally do not
