If you want to use the Quantum AS MIR, do you have to buy from the stores they recomend?

I wanna have Quantum's Fireball Plus AS 40... Where did you get yours from... and how about the rebate... Do I have to buy it from one of their listed resellers???

Yes. You cannot buy it from staples and then get the MIR. Only the stores that are on the website are capable of getting the MIR. I was gonna try from this unknown store where I purchased mine, but I read the site and it says only from the list on the site. Also there was another thread on this some where. Use the search and find it. It gets more into detail.
