If you want to be taken as genuine...

Say a person doesn't think you're genuine to them.

You want to do something to prove your character to them.
When you give something/do something, do you casually mention that "See, I'm geniune" or do you not mention it in the hope that it will be implicitly shown and that it shows character (because you didn't have to say it, it shows?)

For those of you who know what i'm asking, please advise. 🙂

Actions speak louder than words. If you want to prove something to someone you're either not doing it for the right reasons or not confident in the person you are.

you can never say that you are trying to be genuine because than that shows that you're trying to prove that you are being genuine (in other words ungenuine) so you just do whatever you're saying you are....i mean if it's a genuine prick...genuine gentleman you didn't really say...def dont' say anything though in my opinion

if you have to tell someone you're doin' stuff for the right reasons, then.. either you're really not, or.. you're doin' it for the wrong people.

Wise words - now what if you want to turn those people around and make yourself the right person for them?

In other words, how can you get someone working with/for you instead of against you?
